Our Marshall County
office has kick started with support from many different organizations,
businesses, and individuals. We are
currently have the pleasure of partnering with:
Marshall County’s District Attorney, Steve Marshall, to provide services
under Mentoring Marshall, Guntersville Housing Authority to provide mentors for
children in the affordable housing community, GAP Outlet to provide volunteers,
and Marshall County DHR to provide services for the children that they serve. We are also a part of the Albertville and
Guntersville City of Commerce offices.
The program has also acquired a Memorandum of Understanding
(MOU) with Albertville City Schools in order to provide their kindergarten
through eighth grade children with mentors for the up and coming school year
within the perimeters of the school based program. What this MOU does is it permits access to
the schools and children within the school system, and allows for children to
be provided services by our Bigs in our program.
In addition to all of
our efforts to establish ourselves within the community, we have also taken the
time out to give back to the population by volunteering with CASA to help stuff
bags for the 4th of July holiday for local senior citizens. We look forward to working with many more
organizations in the future.
We are always looking to change the lives of children and
help to provide them with meaningful experiences and lifelong
partnerships. If you are interested in
being a Big Brother or Big Sister in our program, please do not hesitate to
